Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida Achieves Record-Breaking 2023-2024 Impact Results

Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida announces a record-breaking year in its 2023-2024 impact results, with a 122.9% increase in the number of students supported compared to the previous year. 

During the 2023-2024 academic year, Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida reached a landmark 27,285 students as compared to 12,259 from the year prior, providing them with essential financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and workforce readiness programs. This milestone reflects Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida’s commitment to empowering young people with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today’s economy.

“Our success in reaching more students than ever reinforces the dedication of our Board of Directors, volunteers, Collier County Public Schools, Lee County School District, and community partners who support our mission,” said Angela Fisher, President of Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida. “These impactful programs equip students with practical skills that prepare them for future success and life.”

In addition to expanding its reach, Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida also achieved a new high in instructional hours delivered, ensuring that students receive comprehensive learning experiences that promote financial literacy and entrepreneurial thinking, with 185,918 hours taught.
