Junior Achievement Announces 2024 Business Hall of Fame Laureates

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Jan. 9, 2024 – Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida (JA) announces Margaret Antonier, Founder and CEO of Miromar Development Corporation, Bill Daubmann, Founder and President of MY Shower Door, and Matthew Kragh, Founder and President of MHK Architecture, are the 2024 laureates to be inducted into the JA Business Hall of Fame on Thursday, March 28, at 5:30 p.m., at the Naples Grande Beach Resort. The prestigious event honors influential, visionary leaders and organizations that have significantly impacted the educational landscape for local youth regarding entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy in Southwest Florida.

A visionary and consummate perfectionist best describes Margaret Antonier, Founder and CEO of Miromar Development Corporation. “My objective isn’t to develop a property quickly but to create a lasting impact with beauty and unique experiences,” says Antonier. This ongoing focus on design and attention to every detail has been recognized with more than 300 awards over the past 25 years for the various Miromar properties. The most significant accolade was bestowed upon Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club with the Gold award as the #1 Community in the U.S.A., the only Florida community to have ever received this prestigious award in the 42-year history of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Miromar Lakes also received the NAHB Gold award as the #1 Clubhouse in the U.S.A., the only community in the country to receive both awards.

While leading a development company of 250 people, Antonier also prioritizes supporting the local community. Miromar Development champions many charities and worthy causes including Florida Gulf Coast University, Harry Chapin Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, Southwest Florida Children’s Charities, Pace Center for Girls, and many others.

With more than 20 years of serving Southwest Florida, Bill Daubmann has made a name for himself as a professional and a community ally. Since its Florida inception in September of 2003, MY Shower Door, led by Daubmann, his wife Donna, and their sons Keith and Doug, has been honored locally, regionally, and nationally. In addition to MY Shower Door, the Daubmann family owns D3 Glass and MY Architectural Glass and employs more than 190 Florida residents. Their latest national recognition was being honored in INC Magazine's "Top 5,000 Fastest Growing Businesses in the United States" for the seventh time. They are the only Southwest Florida family to have two businesses, MY Shower Door and D3 Glass, make the list in the same year, 2023.

Daubmann and his family have a hands-on approach to their business, keeping the well-being of their Southwest Florida community their top priority. Daubmann has served in many community-centered roles for organizations such as Florida Gulf Coast University, SWFL, Inc., and South Fort Myers High School. He has also participated in Make-A-Wish Southwest Florida, Golisano Children's Hospital's Toy Drive, Salvation Army's Backpack School Drive, and more.

Matthew Kragh, Founder and President of MHK Architecture, founded the company in 2009. Starting with a simple vision of architectural excellence, the firm has grown into a collaborative of 10 office locations from Naples to Aspen Colorado, and approximately 130 staff members. MHK has had the pleasure of creating some of the most desired architectural works from Key West out to Aspen, Colorado. Matthew’s team has been an integral leader in everything from luxury single-family homes to high-rise construction projects. In 2004, the American Institute of Architects Florida Southwest Chapter presented Matthew with the Humanitarian of the Year Award and, in 2008, presented him with the W.R. Frizell Medal of Honor, which is the highest honor bestowed on an architect.

Civically active, Matthew and his firm donate their time to benefit the community at large through charitable design projects such as Habitat for Humanity single-family dwellings and their first Collier County-based multi-family project. In addition, MHK does charitable design for the First Tee of Collier County including their exciting new development, the Gate, along with Arthrex, to help underprivileged youth have access to the game of golf and foster young minds. Matthew and his wife Trista have also been great supporters of the United Arts Council of Collier County, the Naples Downtown Association, the Urban Land Institute, the Economic Development Council, the SW Land Preservation Trust, the Naples Four Corners Committee, and the National Kidney Foundation.
